KUTULU is a team of four designers and friends from Czechia and Slovakia, connected by a love of design and creation. They met whilst studying at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design & Art, with a shared vision to revive traditional Czech toy manufacturing, emphasising both artisanal and aesthetic qualities and working with natural and renewable materials.

It was then that the pilot KUTULU series came to life. Combining this first concept with respective know-how, they developed their vision into a brand of the same name and launched their unique and recognisable toys to the market in 2015.

KUTULU aim for their toys to entertain children all over the world and are beautifully designed to stand the test of time. The complete product is manufactured in the Czech Republic using locally sourced materials and in cooperation with local suppliers.

KUTULU toys combine careful handmade production with state-of-the-art technology, where sustainability and material origin is paramount. Each piece goes through many hands while turning, cutting, drilling, grinding, painting, and gluing. All toys are rigorously tested, CE/UKCA certified and meet with EU safety requirements.
