BLAFRE began as a small business created by two parents back in 2005, its name meaning ‘the beating of angel’s wings’ following the birth of their first daughter.

This socially conscious company design and develop a wide range of quality products that are inspired, critically tested and enthusiastically used by playful children (and adults!) all around the world.

From beautifully made bags and best-selling recycled stainless-steel bottles, to unique shaped lunchboxes in recyclable, hardwearing HPDE, BLAFRE offer a multitude of coordinating options to build a unique range. BLAFRE uphold strong principles- lunchboxes are made locally in Norway from recyclable HPDE without BPA and Phthalates. Tins and Suitcases are food safe and designed to perfectly fit combinations of their products. Bags are water repellent with beautiful detailing. All BLAFRE products carry stringent test certification.

As a member of Green Point Norway and The Norwegian Packaging Convention, BLAFRE are a responsible manufacturer also contributing to organisations including WNF, WWF and support and sponsor multiple local school projects, including building one of their own: ‘Skolo’ on Helgeland Island.
